The Story of Nikolai Medvedev: The Pianist Brings the Album Fusions to Prague
Nikolai Medvedev grew up in Russia, graduated from a prestigious academy and built a successful career as a concert pianist. In 2022, however, he left his native country for both political and personal reasons, finding a new home in Germany. Now he will perform in Prague for the first time: on 15 October, he will present a programme from his album Fusions at Bohuslav Martinů Hall. The album blends classical music with jazz, much as his own story intertwines the world he had to leave behind with the one in which he found a second home.
