15.11.2024 at 19:00, Nikolai Medvedev in St. Matthäus Kirche, Berlin.
N. Medvedev: ‘For me, freedom is the most valuable thing in life. For me, Berlin is the capital of freedom. Boris Nemtsov and Alexei Navalny are the most brilliant freedom fighters, my heroes, personalities whose memory I will carry with me all my life. I am playing this concert in their honour.’
Nikolai Medvedev’s concert in St Matthäus Kirche is a vivid statement dedicated to two victims of the Putin regime, Boris Nemtsov and Alexei Navalny. The concert programme includes works by composers whose creations reflect all the horrors of the Stalin and Hitler dictatorships: S. Prokofiev, E. Schulhoff, W. Ullmann and W. Zaderatski.
Together with ‘Russland hinter Gittern e.V.’, the concert is a charity event in support of Russian political prisoners. Tickets at the link below: -«TICKETS»-
